Lavender Dreams

My favorite part about summer is how spontaneous life is in that time.  Even though I'm trying to keep productive through the summer, there is still so much more freedom.  I don't have homework constantly looming over my head (which is nice) and full school days (which is also nice).  I've learned that I actually like a little bit of spontaneous, it keeps life interesting.  When a friend calls at 1:00 to go fishing, I'm there by 2:00. When my mom has some lavender left over (from a wedding that she was a florist for), I spend the whole afternoon making a hair crown... that then leads to a spur of the moment photo shoot with my new lens.

Yes, all of these photos are taken with my new Sigma 85mm 1.4 lens.  It's pretty s'wonderful.  If you would like to hear more about the lens, if I like it, why I got it ect., let me know!

Happy Sunday.  Do something spontaneous.

P.S. Lavender?  I love it.  Who would want a bouquet of flowers from Kroger rather than a bunch of good-smelling-beautifulness that lavender is? Not me.... Now I want a lavender bush. Thanks much.

  3. You are stunning and this is perfect. The thing is, spontaneous yes, but also busy. But even though I'm tied down to some things, but the fact that it's summer and summer means freedom just gives good vibes.
And yes, new lens details please.
