ilife // August 2014

Happy Labor Day everyone!  Over here in Ohio my family is celebrating... by laboring.  That's what Labor Day is for, right?  I'm writing my first paper for school, I picked raspberries this morning (can be viewed on Instagram), I need to edit a bucket load of photos, and we're having my grandma, brother, sista-in-law, and nephew over for supper... which reminds me, I need to marinate those steaks, opps. So I think it's going to be an okay kind of day, not to mention I'm a little happy because I didn't have school today. :)

So, I'm starting a little serious on this blog!  Every month I'm going to be sharing a review of that month through my iPhone photos.  I'm really excited about this and hope you are to!  I think it's going to be a good challenge to start documenting the little details that make up our days and weeks.  Let me know if you would like to join it, maybe we could start a link-up?!  Some of these photos have made it to my Instagram but there are a lot that are un-edited moments that just needed to be captured (like the little bed bug in my bed)... aaaand there may be a couple that are just embarrassing, ahem, like the one in the bottom lefthand corner.  So yeah, I hope you have liked this little peak into my August!

It was a good month.  It was the month that my whole family was together for the first time in a year, it was the month that I started school, it was the month that nothing super exciting happened but somehow it was one of my favorites of the year... I think it was just all the simple little details that made it so good.

ALSO!  The bottom left-hand photo... would you like a tutorial for that hairstyle?  It's one of my new favorites!

  1. I love the picture of one of the little "bugs" sitting at the table staring contentedly at the flowers. So cute and funny!
